Available in a limited edition of 100 pieces, the Chronomaster Sport Watches of Switzerland edition captures the shared heritage of the two leading industry experts. This exclusive watch comes with both a three-link steel integrated bracelet and the new option of a blue rubber strap, exploring a different side of sportiness. In the three years since its introduction, the Chronomaster Sport has made its mark and solidified its position as a leading contender among sporty chronographs. The heir to a long legacy of ZENITH chronographs that began prior to the game-changing El Primero’s launch in 1969, the Chronomaster Sport is the culmination point in the Manufacture’s pursuit of precision, performance and design. To commemorate the centenary anniversary of Watches of Switzerland, ZENITH have crafted the engraved 1/10th of a second bezel on top of the 41mm steel case in deep blue ceramic for the first time in the Chronomaster Sport collection - a nod to the Watches of Switzerland Group’s signature navy blue. Unmistakably a Chronomaster, the dial features ZENITH’s signature tricolour counters in shades of grey. Inside the watch is a high-performance version of ZENITH’s iconic El Primero chronograph calibre. When it debuted in 1969, the original El Primero became the world’s first high-frequency, fully integrated chronograph movement, beating at 36, 000vph, or 5hz. Its autonomy has also been rendered more efficient, with an extended power reserve of 60 hours. The sapphire display back provides an unobstructed view of the movement’s contemporary architecture features a sleeker and more open design, revealing a blue column wheel and open rotor marked with the five-pointed star ZENITH. Around the periphery of the caseback the engraving marks ‘ONE OF 100’.
