U-2/51-JET – inspired by RAF’s 100 Squadron A stealth aesthetic based on strategic night operations Black dial with contrasting heat treated steel blued hands Powered by the BE-36AE movement Water resistance to 10 bar (100 metres) A TRIBUTE TO THE RAF’S 100 SQUADRON Tested beyond endurance, Bremont’s U-2 collection re-engineers and re-imagines original military design for the civilian airspace. Introducing a new dimension to the collection, this U-2/51-JET model takes its design cues from a military project commissioned to celebrate the centenary of the RAF’s 100 Squadron – the first squadron formed for night bombing back in 1917. INTRODUCING A DARKER SIDE This confident model is presented in a new, 43mm stainless steel DLC Trip-Tick® case with a jet black middle barrel and a bi-directional bezel, featuring Roto-Click® for enhanced accuracy and durability. The black dial prioritises legibility, with up to 20 coats of Super-Lumi Nova® to ensure flawless visibility, even in the most challenging of conditions. Precision and reliability are delivered by the BE-36AE movement, resting on an anti-shock movement mount and visible through the exhibition case back with tinted black smoked glass. Provided with a non-integrated DLC bracelet and an additional Temple Island rubber strap.
