The Creation: Created by Gregoris Pyrpylis, Creative Director of Hermès Beauty, the Trait d'Hermès collection of color pencils offers a wide range of expressive possibilities for the eyes. The pencils can be used to draw a precise or smudged line of color on the eyelids, for a natural or sophisticated result. The Color: These twenty-four emblematic, surprising and timeless colors are a nod to the Hermès store at 24, Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris. Beige Trompe-l'Œil is a natural beige that blends with the waterline and opens up the gaze. The Product: Combining a firm point with a creamy texture, the eye pencil offers a matte finish. Easy to apply, it draws an even line in a single gesture for a precise or smudged look. The Formula: Combining highly sensory qualities and intense pigments, the formula is suitable for application to the eyelids and waterline of even sensitive eyes. The Object: Designed by Pierre Hardy, the pencil is inspired by the obstacle bars used in show-jumping competitions, with its black and white lacquer and brushed metal. Like the colored pencils we remember from childhood, it is made of wood sourced from PEFC-certified* forests and has a built-in smudger. Its brushed metal cap is adorned with the House's emblematic H. The Gesture: The color is applied in a single stroke, along the waterline or the lower lash line, to open up the gaze. Using the pencil's smudger or the L'estompeur de précision brush, you can create a wide range of make-up results, from thin to thick, graphic and clean to soft and blended lines on the eyelid and along the waterline. The pencil is sharpened using the collection's pencil sharpener. * Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes Protecting the environmental balance of forests.
