2026 marks the 60th anniversary of PADI - the Professional Association of Diving Instructors - and the 10th year of its partnership with Seiko Prospex. As the world's largest diving training organisation, with over 6, 600 dive centres and 128, 000 professional members worldwide, PADI has issued more than 29 million certifications, empowering divers of all experience and abilities to explore the underwater world. This limited edition Diver's watch celebrates that shared commitment to the joy of diving and the beauty of the ocean. This watch shape is nicknamed by Seiko fans as the 'Turtle' - a reference to its distinctive rounded case form which has a similar silhouette to a turtle on the wrist. The vivid blue dial features the PADI logo, with blue and red accents evoking PADI's 60th anniversary logo. The luxurious ceramic bezel insert introduces a vibrant shade of blue and capturers the refreshing beauty of the ocean, while also providing ultimate scratch resistance for the bezel while you are out on adventures. Lumi Brite on the hands, indices and bezel ensures legibility at the darkest depths, and the screw-down crown provides added water resistance to 200m. Fitted with an ultra-scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass this protects the case and will help showcase the luxurious appearance of the striking dial over the long term. The crystal has a ‘machined-in’ magnified portion over the day and date dial window making viewing the date much more practical.
