Chivas 25 is a rare and exclusive blend of the finest Scotch whiskies, which have all been aged for a minimum of 25 years. The legendary Chivas 25 was the worlds first luxury whisky, launched in 1909 to Americas high society in New York. Enticingly fruity with a luxuriously long finish, it's easy to see why Chivas 25 made a comeback. Chivas 25 was the worlds first luxury whisky, reaching American shores in 1909 as the first whisky to be aged for at least 25 years. After taking New York by storm, World War 1 and the prohibition meant that Chivas 25 disappeared and became a highly coveted collectors item. It wasnt until 1950 that Chivas returned as a 12-year-old whisky. In 2007, Chivas' fifth Master Blender Colin Scott, who inspired by the original recipe, re- created Chivas Regal 25 to celebrate where the story began.
